Jeff Koons ‘Celebration’ Exhibition

Posted in Exhibitions by Paul on November 28, 2008

Yesterday evening after work, I headed on down to the NeueNational Gallerie in Potsdamer Straße to go and see the major exhibition of Jeff Koons‘ work that they have on until next year. All the pieces were from Koon’s ‘Celebration‘ series, a collection of work he has been working on since 1994.

Some amazing sculptural and kitsch pieces on display, and I particularly liked the blow up balloon dogs. The NeueNational Gallerie in itself was amazing as well, with floor to ceiling windows 360 degrees all the way around. You couldn’t take photographs at the exhibition so I took it upon myself (along with everyone else) to snap away outside. The rest of the photographs are on my Flickr page here.

The exhibition looks amazing, I could probably spend hours and hours in there. And the building itself is stunning!

    Great pictures man,
